| I would support this move. While I do not drink, I would still support the businesses that do this. Hopefully this option would make it possible for more nice restaurants to come to town. |

The other day I was speaking with some less fortunate people (bums) here around lumberton and other locations in hardin county. 9 out of 10 I spoke with are all leaving hardin county and transfering to Jasper Co, mainly jasper city due to it being wet now..I dont guess the people of jasper had a jasper community network website where they could have been informed about the rapid increase of bums when alcohol is legalized. So much for stopping at Casa Ole on the way to the lake..
FYI: in the event you encounter one of these bums while travelling through Jasper, dont make eye contact, keep all doors locked and never ever speak to them just keep driving.... These are the same violent bums that were living in the trash dumpsters behind Westwood corner Market and Express Mart at wheeler rd when alcohol was being sold last summer.
Be Safe Folks!
I also spoke with the mayor of rosehill acres the other day and I think we are going to get a petition together for the sale of alcohol in our neighborhood, That is if the bellow klan dont mind...? |

| There are not many tax exempt churches over there to lobby against the proposition. |

Could be that, or the fact that Jasper wants to take advantage of the added revenue alcohol sales will bring in, even at the cost of a higher bum population and more house fires. At one time, Jasper and Lumberton were two of the fastest growing cities in the state..Looks like we'll be left by the wayside. |

It seems that Mr. Bellows is very upset with the ruling made by the judge cocerning the vote. It would appear that the judge feels there were some errors in the way things were handled and ruled accordingly. I hate to read that Mr. Bellows thinks that our legal system is corrupt. I admit, it is not prefect, but it sure beats what is in second place. There are rules to follow no matter what we are doing. If we do not follow them, them we should accept what is dealt out to us. If we did not have rules, then where would we be? Like my daddy used to tell me, "Do it right the first time and you want have to do it over". It seems like Mr. Bellows throught he was smarter than everyone else concerning this liquor petition. The county judge and commissioners were told, before they approved the petition, that it had some errors. They elected to approve it anyway.
Many men and women have fought and died for this country. They have given us the freedoms that we have today. The right to vote is one of those freedoms - a very important one. So lets just follow the rules and do it right. Get another petition out there. You know what was done wrong, correct it and go forward. Just stop your whinning. If you don't like it here - try Mexico, or South America. Go there and see how far your whinning will get you. |

| My wife and I ate at Logan's in Beaumont this afternoon and enjoyed it. They serve alcohol and we did not see any bums. Could be we do not know what a bum looks like. Maybe David could describe one to me. |
