You heathens, My Lord shall strike every one of you alcohol drinking heathens from the face of this world. Everyone knows our almighty father did not want his children to drink of the fruit of the vine. That is why his beer and wine did not contain any alcohol.

Get with the program. When the day of redemption comes ONLY Lumberton will be saved. All the sinners who live in communities that allow alcoholic beverages will go to hell.

Hadn't heard much about it. There are lots of things going up around town though. I was out and about around town the other day and couldn't believe the amount of new construction going on around here.

Where? The home sales are in the tank and new business is like a desert.

Are you talking about the new mobile home parks?

That is about all you will see, that and maybe a fast food place. Yippee!!!

This community is dead and we killed ourselves. Now we do not even have the widening of 69 to look forward to anymore.

Well, to be exact, I recall seeing new construction up and down both major Highways as well as 421.

As far as low home sales, that's everywhere, not just here in Lumberton.

This community is still hustling and bustling and they'll still have to widen HWY 69.

I was at Smoothie King today in Beaumont and the owner said they hope to open up the Smoothie King in Lumberton sometime in October.

What has happened to the 69 widening project? Last I heard it was still in the 10 year plan.

sorry but 7 bucks for a bad tasting protein shake is a waste, but to each his own i suppose. if you dont like it, dont go. im just too poor!!!lol now id pay 7 bucks for a sixer of ...errrr....well you get the point!!!
